I've been listening to your old time radio program many times and love it very much; it brings back mnay wonderful childhood and teenager's memory. However, recently, I found out that there is a commercial link on your left hand side column--the "Sign Guestbook" click, whenever you want to sign in, it went directly to a UK Mobile Phone website. I don't know if this is an intended website connection or simply a spam click, same thing happened on the original AFNT website too. Just want to inform you this, thank you for your wonderful AFNT radio broadcasting.

I was stationed at Shu Linkou with the 6987th Security Squadron from 1960 to 1964, I studied advanced Chinese at the US State Department Foreign Service Institute School in Taichung during 1968 and 1969. I worked as a communications consultant in Taiwan during 1981 - 1985 and 1994 - 1996. Taiwan became my 2nd home over those decades. I still miss it a lot.

I lived in Taiwan in the late 50's A navy Brat. My Dad ran the commissary I was only nine when we left but have lots fond memories of Formosa. Little league baseball, firecrakers,wonton soup from street carts and li hing dried fruit.

I was assigned to the Provost Marshall's Office at the west compound from Nov 78- Apr 79 when the base closed.

I must say that the info contained on your site put me right where my father might have been. I felt a closeness while listening to the radio clips contained on your site. There was a vivid picture and a mere glimpse of what my father might have experienced while stationed over there at that particular time. Maybe he heard the airing or that very clip. Hmmm. One may wonder. For this, I am grateful because I have never had those feelings of attachment to him, ever, in my life because I had nothing to connect me to him at all. You have at least given me that, sir. Bless you and thank you.

Very good memory of AFNT,I can always remember "This is Paul Harvey, stand by for news...."
and at the mid-night, National anthem of Republic of China, and then America national anthem, now here comes the question, after national anthem, there is a song "The voice of home, sound of america, means from east to west for freedom sunny shore ...."

Do you know what I'm talking ? do you have this song ?
